I forgot to add a payment I'd made to the CC the other day to the car balance so I've done it today. It will be nice to get under £10k, hopefully next month!

Happy Saturday!
Our original plans for yesterday were scuppered by the motorway being closed, so we decided to take my car for a jaunt around the county to see how it did with the range of the battery. It was quite reassuring to understand the reality. We will have to do the same for motorway driving to understand how that drains it. We did do a short stretch yesterday so have an idea.
I was going to charge it while I was out yesterday evening, but the charging point needed yet another app, and I can't be doing with trying to set up apps while I'm out and about. The signal is rarely good enough here! I wish they'd also offer card payments too.
I had a lovely meal out last night, and didn't go too crazy. I have gained 1lb this week, but I'm ok with that, as I do feel rather bloated from last night!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
