My normal CC payment has been made today so a nice reduction to the balance, even though it's not counted as a PAD.
I went into the office today but also did a short day by not logging on before I went in (I usually start around 6.30am) and also finished early so I could get the bus home. I did walk in this morning. It's nice having DH to manage the school runs, so I could just head on in to the office.
My mood is low at the moment, and I'm in full sabotage/comfort eating mode. I need to get back on track. This is why I need to go to group as otherwise I'd just throw in the towel when I get like this. The thought of group on Saturday is encouraging me to get back on it. I'm not expecting a loss anyway this week as I'm out on Friday night and the last time I went to this restaurant I put on 3lb overnight. It was only water weight as it went within a day or two but that won't happen in time for a Sat morning weigh in
DH sold some stuff yesterday so 5 items packed. My box stash is reducing nicely!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
You are still doing great despite your mood.
Great that stuff is leaving the house and money is coming inIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I often make rhubarb batter pudding & occasionally apple or mixed dried fruit. I also have the recipes for plum or bacon but never actually got round to making it.1

Am absolutely in awe of your PADs. Have just made a £5 OP towards my credit card. Every little helps, as they say.Credit card 1768

Hands up from another emotional eater here so I know it's really hard.
You're doing amazing though.Debt Free - 4th June 20252 -
Just wondering if there are any comfort foods that will fit your plan? You are doing so well.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I'm always amazed at how those little amounts add up. Well done on your OP - it all helps!

It is really tough to be an emotional eater.

There are definitely comfort foods that will fit the plan, sadly not chocolate though
I think I am struggling with the change of seasons a bit as it only takes seconds to throw together a salad, but I need to be a bit more organised if I want something warming at lunchtime. That has always been my downfall! I definitely need to start planning and prepping more.
