Thank you. I'm on a waiting list to get a smart meter from Octopus so will have to wait and see until then anyway.Debsnewbudget said:We are on Octopus Agile, and making savings each day, so not worth changing tariff for us. i have just set a schedule to charge up between 12:30 am and 6am when I plug in.
i track our energy use and its not really made that much difference. As a hybrid, If I do majority of my miles on electric then I get 99 miles to gallon so that offsets extra costs.
A neighbour has the cheap overnight tariff and they say that works as they put on all the domestic machines during that period."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -

Well done on your weight loss, shame about the blood tests but there could be a number of factors (a sibling had 3 lots of bloods done because the reading was too low but before they changed the dosage of their meds, they asked for the 3rd bloods and do them fasting and take the meds a certain amount of time before the test was taken - the 3rd test came back totally in range, if they had changed the dosage it would have really played havoc), hoping the next reading is more aligned as it sounds like you have made many positive changes and you are doing amazing!
Sorry to hear about DH's role this week, I'm sure it will work out and there will be work again soon. Great news re the car charging.
Hope Miss Jwil is ok, my DS has started with a sore throat and sniffles over the weekend - assuming it's back to school lurgy and possibly the change in weather - hope she's feeling brighter soon.
Great progress with the PADs too

That reminds me I haven't made toad in the hole for ages although I do make other "in the hole" things but they tend to be more fruit based.2
