I was up nice and early this morning so have had a productive morning so far. I did my walk and have achieved my silver 'body magic' award now. On to gold. I've definitely been making more of an effort to do something each day even if it's only 15 minutes or so.
I was logged on to work by 6.30 because I have another day of meetings and want to get some stuff done. There's a few things I'd like to complete before I go off for the week so they aren't hanging over me.
Have a good day everyone

Early morning walk sounds good. What's the body magic award? Is it a commitment to do so much. Well done for doing it. Hope the early log in was nice and peaceful before all your meetings. Thank you. The awards are about gradually increasing the amount you exercise, so they are not too onerous. Bronze is 45 minutes a week over at least 3 days for 4 weeks, Silver is 90 minutes a week over at least 3 days for 4 weeks, and gold is 150 minutes a week for 8 weeks, over 5 days and including 2 strength sessions a week. You can break it down into 15 minute sessions which makes it easier to dip in and out of.NeverendingDMP said:Early morning walk sounds good. What's the body magic award? Another early start for me today. I've done one of the workout videos on the SW app, I'm so uncoordinated, I'm guessing flailing around counts as movement
I'm on a mission, as it's my last day today for over a week. I've written my to do list and am determined to smash it! Only one meeting today so hopefully I'll be left alone to get on with things.
Have a good day everyone

Well done on moving more. Have to admit I hadn't even realised that there are exercise bits on the App, so thanks for mentioning that. I am also a 'flail around' counts person, no co ordination. My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

I'm sure 'flailing around' counts - it's still movement isn't it? On my pre diabetes course apparently even just wiggling your fingers and toes counts! I'm assuming typing on here also counts then, LOL!3

Thank you. I've done a few of the videos in the app, I like that there's all different levels on there. I'm glad it's not just me flailing around.redofromstart said:Well done on moving more. Actually, there have been a couple of times where my smart watch gave me the nudge to move around, but I didn't because I was in the middle of something at work. It registered that I did get up and move, so I was obviously moving my arm relatively vigorously
