Another member of the ban club here! Very frustrating with so many advents comps taking the IG route.
Haven't been able to go through the appeal to be reinstated process as the email from IG with a code doesn't get through. Tried numerous times so guess I'm stuck until it unblocks itself, hopefully only 3 days.

I’m banned too…along with my husband. I’m really fed up with the whole thing. I seem to think it’s worse than last year. It’s such a shame when the majority of competitions are on Instagram.

Both my personal and back up account got suspended today, luckily they were reinstated but I'm giving up on instagram comps (certainly through advent) as its just not worth the risk of losing my account. 

Hopefully instagram will stop companies requiring tags so we can carry on

Exactly the same has happened to me, I've had a ban from Instagram for taking part in all of the 12 days of Christmas competitions that require you to tag someone. I've tagged 2 people - my sister and my step Dad who both know i do the competitions. I'm on a really low income and if I forfeit any prizes as a result it will have a huge impact, I'm mostly entering competitions for food due to the cost of living crisis. I'm thinking of contacting CAB to see what the legal position is because it seems unfair that I'm excluded from the competitions especially as most of them have to be entered that day. I've sent Instagram 7 messages, reported the problem multiple times and had no reply. Prizes are greatly appreciated and go a long way in the cost of living crisis. What do others think?? Thank you

I wonder what the legal position is on this. Ie if we're all banned, the competitions are every day so we're banned from every single companies' advent competition every single day that the ban lasts. And the 12 days comps are annually so only once a year........
And it's all of us not just 1 person. I'm messaging the companies now on all the comps I want to enter, telling them I can't tag and telling them about this. If instagram had replied it could have been resolved.
