It's been a heartbreaking day, I received word from a dear friend that her husband, a former manager of mine passed away this morning. His last year of life was not easy, they were in a bad car accident last sping which rendered him parapalegic and over the past month he battled pneumonia twice. The last thing I said to him before he went to acute care was that I knew he was stubborn enough to will the pneumonia away. When his reply was OK, I knew it would be soon for him, as he was never one to let me boss him around without an arguement. The fact that he agreed to my comment brings a smile to my face after the many years we spent battling each other professionally and loving each other personally. The fates have decreed it is his time and he has passed on leaving a huge hole in our lives.4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)Original End Date - Sept 2041 New projection - Dec 2039 (reduced by 21 months)9
