Christmas in our house has come and gone - mostly because I spent 19 hours sleeping! Boxing day we had a supposedly posh chicken with truffle gravy - but tbh it was no better than the usual Sunday roast chicken I make at 25% of the cost! Lesson learned - Xmas food is just more expensive Sunday food!

Today was spent with us having an uncomfortable conversation with Mom across the pond - she does not fully understand OH's prognosis and thinks I should be forcussing my time and energy on her will & LOA's as she's 100% sure she'll be gone before OH.  I'm very thankful for OH being able to maintain equilibrium and explaining to her that there will be enough of me to go around when the time comes but for now my focus is rightfully on him.  What can I say - it's not truly Xmas unless there is family drama & at least it was not an arguement as I just bit my tongue and let my lovely OH do all the talking.  We both had a few hours of quiet time (& naps) after the stress, so dinner will be delivery! MSE pizza - I have vouchers so will cost us all of 5gbp - 3 of which is delivery!

Much accomplished @rtandon27! Impressive as ever.  @Cheery_Daff, is it worth keeping a tiara to hand? It elevates any outfit, I find. Onwards and upwards love Humdinger xx
