Financial updates for the week…
…we seem to have a lot of food in the house so no grocery shop this week - very pleased about that as we have 5 Tuesdays this month but will not have to find the extra shop!…lady locksmith is amazing - she is going to source parts for our old upvc windows - the bolts have failed! she says two of the three need repairing and the 3rd she will tighten the handle and it will be fine
…amazed with the oxygen supplier - we got a direct number to bypass the switchboard and get someone higher up when i mentioned the failures and timeline - i'm going to see it we can stick with them as every penny saved is another payment to the mortgage
…Natwest messed up my new ISA & contributions - a
snot-o-gramletter of complaint has been drafted for resolver - will update on the saga another day!…cursed hoover has gone back - i'm waiting for the refund to hit my account - i used the gift return link so the money will come to me
…had to draft an e-mail to the conveyancers & estate agent for OH - the witch with a capital B is playing games - the property offer is lower than value - and we heard through the grapevine the offer was made by their youngest daughter! Absolutely not having this - full disclosure of who made the offer or it can sit on the market for another 20 years! Looks like we may have to call in the financial power of attorney if OH gets any more stressed by this, and the witch won't enjoy dealing with me - I'm not soft - and he's about to start an intensive round of treatment
…and final news - I'm affected by the latest round of redundancies in the office - but there is something not kosher happening there too - so tomorrow I hire an independant HR consultant - not able to say more than that, but it is highly stressful!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! Crumbs, mega-stressful. Prioritise welfare for both of you, finances can come second as people are the most important. However, I don't doubt you can make yourself felt!

Ha ha, yes, but if that were me, I'd get het up about it as well as delivering my message in no uncertain terms, and that wouldn't do my stress levels any good. So I'm thinking of your stress levels, but of course you may not react as I do. It could be a safety valve for you. You know best. 🙂

stress your household can absolutely do without. Hopefully a speedy resolution from the independent HR consultant will be a solution
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -
Agree with Watty - stress your entire household can do without. I hope all the relevant professionals help you out and these matters are brought to a speedy and satisfactory conclusion.
