Thank-you all for the hugs - as always well received and greatly appreciated!
Well OH's Ex is a treat and a half - (insert emoji of choice here) - the shady estate agent and their equally questionable conveyancer have had rockets up their proverbial via e-mail (wording courtesy of yours truly) - OH's lawyers have been contacted and we await an in person meeting with said e-mail trails in hand. So that is as far as that one goes for now.
OH's next medical treatment will be administered via Picc line towards the heart. His implant surgery for the Picc is in 1.5 weeks which means he has to be medication free this upcoming week. He's already exhausted from the last appt and spending most of his time sleeping. I'm fairly grumpy about about painkillers being the only thing he can currently take! Result is that he is back on the 80% liquid diet! All in all we are a grumpy household atm!
Employment situation is stressing me out - not because of what it is but because of the shear amount of paperwork I need to gather and organize. The more I revisit things the angrier I get!
Now for the juicy bit of gossip - it's taken 3 weeks for Mrs. Plasticgrass next door to meet with me when the respective male partners were out! (Mine went to hospice - sigh) This request was off the back of her husband butchering my flowers that were blooming in front of my door. I can now say to the satisfaction of both the lawyer and the council that I made all reasonable attempts to speak civillly to the neighbour about her partner's trespass and criminal damage to my property not once, but over the course of years. His behaviour has been repeated & documented. I've also advised her that security cameras will be mounted front and back to monitor the property line, and images will prove any further breaches without a doubt. Neighbour on the other side heard every word she even opened he window wider to catch the exchange that I wanted to last for 15 minutes and MrsPG drew out to 1hr45mins trying to justify everything I brought up as an issue with an excuse. Other neighbour who is about the same age as my mother has been theatened and also verbally abused by MrPG in the past, which makes me really upset as I grew up in an environment that treats elders with respect and dignity. At one point I did say that if he was indeed as mentally unfit as the Mrs claims that it was even more reason for me to employ security cameras for my own safety and that of my household and property. Overall her reaction was vile - she was angry and hostile which was diametrically opposed to my calm demeanour - proved to be every bit the fishwife the OH says she is!
So none of that is particularly MSE focused but that is where my mind is currently at - All things financial are ticking along in the background - I got paid, bills have been paid, money juggled for the month and budget adjusted. I'll be trying to keep to my usual weekend list of chores and return at some point with a proper meal plan for the week.4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Oh RT, what a big old mess. I applaud you for trying to juggle all this, but really, can't thr Plastoc Grass family at least crawl under a rock and leave you alone?? Good lord. I am very mild mannered but even I'm tempted to organise an MSE minibus so we can come and have words 😬

@Cheery_Daff - haha - if you organize the bus, I'll supply the BBQ!!! I'd love to have the tribe over 😘 Now can we divert you all via my office in the big smoke, to have a word or two with the headache makers before you come to mine? In fact, I'm very close to the Henge and all the camping sites there - it's almost solstice if anyone wants to brave the crowds?

WattyDog and I will be on the mini bus. WattyDog looks the part of the security dog even if he is way too soft to actually act the part.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
Stinky says that if WattyDog is going, he wants to go too. Although he's suggested that we take not-Fatty as our muscle, as she's FAR scarier than any dog 🤣

haha - @beanielou - I love the image of a gang of MSE ladies getting off the mini-bus and giving the neighbours a what-for - and of course just for future reference you can park in front of my staircase and block in our car but for heavens sake don't go one cm over the property line or she'll be screaming at you like the fishwife she is!
Oh and also - for the love of gawd, please use my side of the shared staircase so we don't add wear and tear to the list of fabricated complaints she came up with in retaliation! 🤪🤪🤪 Turns out she is opposed to all the deliveries we get - lol - I had three on Friday - Royal Mail, Amazon & Uber (all scheduled for my wfh day)!
…and the best bit of Friday was that our lovely postie very carefully walked up her side of the steps to give her an envelope and gave me a hugely apparant wink upon retreat.4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! I’m close to a rather famous Henge too, made of stone, so I’ll come along. No scary pets but I can give a mean ‘look’ 😡
