@beanielou - my dear Gran was the first person to take me shopping for proper sets & I remember her saying that they needed to function as well as look pretty. There was some wisdom in the psychology behind being well dressed under the jeans & t-shirts! …and a bit of decent armature designed for wear under t-shirts is priceless!
@EssexHebridean - I do dread the annual hunt for replacement armature - it's horrid when favorite styles get discontinued and the replacements are such poor quality! The pandemic years of wearing yoga gear 24/7 has also made me veer towards athletic gear with racer backs rather than the engineered comfort!
@dawnybabes - I'd be curious to know if you find them new with tags? Underpinnings & shoes are the two things I buy new! Had another lovely day yesterday adventurizing with our dear KC! We went for a walk (at our own pace) taking in the architecture - St John's Church near Waterloo, then the art gallery on southbank, then past the tate modern at battersea power station then Borough Market then back to waterloo Station - paying attention in particular to art deco and regency architecture. It was nice to see the sites & each other even if we were a tad wilted by the end of it!

@greent & @MisterPym - yes indeed - our lovely KC is well and spends much of her time adventurising with her sister and extended family. We meet up in London 2 to 3 times a year to catch up and take in the sites.
@Cherryfudge - it was a tad on the warm side, there was a lovely breeze off the Thames though, and all in all I much prefer this weather to the constant months of rain we had earlier in the year!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!!
