    I mean what target to set myself,  I’m new to this forum 
    Monday was another NSD 
    but today I need to buy milk, bread, and nachos to go with chilli and jacket potatoes for dinner tonight

    Typically, things like groceries, fuel and medication don’t count as ‘spends’ as they are usually deemed essential. 

    What brought you here in the first place? 😊

    - When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £245,192
    - OPs to mortgage = £7,443 , Interest saved £2,775 to date
    Fixed rate 3.85% ends November 2029

    Read 45 books of target 52 in 2024 (as @ 6th December)
    Produce tracker: £200 of £300

    @winterbear95 those are basic groceries so they are one of the things that can be excluded. In other words, if that's all you spent today, it's still an NSD. Also don't worry about setting a target, it's fine if you want to see how you go! xx
