After a weekend of cake/pizza I didn’t want to go crazy when out for lunch today and I’m pleased I managed it on plan ☺️🥳B - smoked salmon bagel thin & melon1 syn for Philly lightestL - halloumi with rocket salad to start; grilled salmon in garlic butter with a HUGE mixed salad of salad veg and fruit (dressed only with lemon I squeezed on myself); one proseccoGoing to say around 6 syns for the butter and oil on the food (obviously a bit of an estimate but I didn’t eat all the butter served etc) as the actual food was all free/speed and I saved both my HEA today which would account for the halloumi (which I also didn’t eat all of). It was 5 syns for the glass of Prosecco.Wasn’t hungry for dinner after that so just had a banana 😊Then 1 syn for 1/2 an advent calendar chocolate. So around 13 syns in total. Also walked nearly 15,000 steps today and got 98(!) active minutes mainly as I chose to walk to the train station this morning, which is around 3 miles from my house.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Morning all, plenty of rain and wind still last night although the rain has now stopped and the wind isn't as bad. Hope it's calmed down wherever you are.
Don't normally go shopping on a Monday but we're going today as DH needs to pick something up from a shop in town so decided might as well do it today rather than going out tomorrow as no need to go to Iceland or The Food Warehouse this week (usually go Tuesday for the 10% off!).
Today's plan:
B - weetabix, milk, fruit - HEB; HEA2 (part); S; F
L - lamb ragout, pasta - Part HEA2; P; S; F; 4.5
D - Spanish Omelette - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEAW - milk/parmasan
HEB - Weetabix
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.1 -
Morning all, I love the food inspiration on this thread. I’m definitely having halloumi this week!A busy week ahead. I’ve family visiting from tomorrow night (no idea how long for yet 🙄) and various appointments every day. I’m thinking while I’m out and about I’ll get some of the food shop done for over the Christmas break. I don’t go mad but like to get certain bits and pieces from different shops.
Today’s food:
B - 45g bran flakes HEXB, raspberries, strawberries, yoghurt 0.5
L - tuna with huge salad - 2 syns for salad cream
D - gammon steak, chips, roasted to,stones, onions, mushrooms and tender stem broccoli
Have a great day everyone.1 -
The lamb ragout was very tasty - if fact both DH and I said that it actually didn't need the meat in it! We didn't eat any of the meat as it was still a bit fatty even though had got as much as possible off before putting into the ragout. Will definitely make it again but will either use LO lamb leg or just make it using a lamb stockpot for the lamb flavour.
Bought a gammon joint for Christmas today in Tescos while it's less than half price - was originally priced at £26.87 and paid £12. 24. There will be plenty of Christmas dinner, cold on Boxing Day and will be able to slice some and freeze to have for sandwiches or with egg, chips and beans later in the month or in January.

Back fully on plan with no social engagements! Today’s meals:
B - fat free skyr and fruit salad (melon, grapes, strawberries and blueberries)
0.5 syn - maple syrup
L - chicken & veg (red cabbage, onion, broccoli, yellow pepper) stir fry with rice
0.5 syn - maple syrup (the rest of the stir fry sauce was just soy sauce/vinegar/garlic/ginger but it needed a little something to sweeten)
S - 30g cheddar (HEA) & grapes
D - lentil, bacon & veg (onion, celery, carrot, leek, potato) soup with a wholemeal pitta (HEB) stuffed with chicken, lettuce, cucumber & tomato)
1 syn - 25g lightest Philly
So 2 syns today (will be 3 once I half an advent choc with Red) and used one HEA and my HEB.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

That's a good day @Bluegreen143! 👍
I make a similar stir fry with soy, honey and a squeeze of lime juice. 😋
The lamb ragu sounds delicious @joedenise. Sometimes, I see diced lamb, very lean and that would work or, as you said, a bit off a leg.
It's much calmer today although the wind is whipping up a bit now.
After the dentist, I've spent most of the day moving stuff from the dining room to the kitchen. There's loads more to do but it's a start. It feels strange finding new homes for everything.
I'm having wine syns today. Unusual for a Monday but it's LO from yesterday so not extra syns IYSWIM. 😉
Today's plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- cold chicken (P), LO veg and pickles (F, S)
D- cod (P), chips, mushy peas (F), lots of veg (S)
Syns - LO wine 🤣1 -
