Afternoon all, hope everyone is keeping safe with the storm. Thankfully it's not been too bad here being in the South East although still very wet and windy.
Pleased to say I've managed to sort out the excess bagginess under the arms of my dress with a bit of trial and error! Just got to do cover the buttons, make the buttonholes and turn the hem! So not too much more to do but will take a bit of time.
Well done on getting straight back on plan @Bluegreen143. Try and keep your syns a bit lower this week to counteract the extras yesterday to at least get STS or even a small loss.
Glad you're feeling a bit better @TakeItEazy, long may it continue.
Life gets in the way sometimes @Jellybaby so just get back on plan now to avoid too much damage.
Today's plan:
B - sausage sandwich - HEB; 5
L - pork steak, mash, green beans - P; S; F
D - Lentil and vegetable soup - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; LF spread 2.5; brown sauce 0.5
Have a good day everyone.1 -
Evening all 😁
How bloody windy is it 😱😱
Well done TIE, i can join you this week with a 1lb loss 😁
Denise, glad your dress is coming on 😁
Well i have been wreath making this afternoon, i am not crafty at all and surprised myself! I did have some home made short bread which was lush 😋cannot put it on the door with this wind, the weight of it would smash the glass!
We are out tomorrow for a family meal so will try and make good choices!

I’d love to say I went totally back on plan today 🙊.
B - smoked salmon bagel (1 Philly lightest, HEB)
L - baked potato, beans & cheese (HEA)
S - 1/2 advent choc (1)
And then…
Ended up just eating about four slices of dominoes pizza instead of making the planned healthy tea as there was quite a bit leftover and it seemed wasteful… then I had a slice of chocolate cake & scoop of ice cream.Healthy day planned tomorrow despite the fact I have a lunch out. Planning to order salmon & salad so just a few syns for oil used and I’ll measure salad dressing. I’ve eaten at this restaurant a few times and the food is healthy and fresh and they give you the bottle of dressings to top your own salad, helpfully.I always knew this time of year would be a very tricky time to start. I’ll be keeping as healthy as possible from now til Thursday and even if I get a STS it will be far better than I’d normally get this time of year. If I hadn’t been doing SW I would have eaten loads of crap the rest of the day thinking “f it, it’s a treat day” instead of having a healthy breakfast and lunch!Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Morning all, thought the wind and rain was supposed to be easing up this morning from 6am but it's still pretty windy here! Was going to do a machine load of washing but think it's probably too windy to hang on the line so going to leave it until tomorrow or Tuesday when it's hopefully less windy!
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
L - roast breast of lamb, roast potatoes, roasted veg, green beans, broccoli - P; S; F; 4.5
D - cauliflower cheese, chips - S; F; 3.5
HEA - milk
HEB - none planned but have some cereal bars if I fancy something later
Syns - LF sausages 2; lamb 4.5; cheese sauce 3.5; couple 0% G&Ts 0.5
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all 😁
Absolutely atrocious weather here, wind and rain, we are supposed to be going out for this meal, bit worried Mum is going to be blown over , will have to hang onto her hard, hoping it calms down a bit.
Hope everyone is safe.
Bluegreen, we can only be good when we can this time of year but like you say normally a load of crap would be eaten so this is a bonusSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:1 -
Well done on your losses @bubbs, @Matron_Midge and @TakeItEazy. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 They all count and just goes to show that we can lose at this time of the year. I find it best to just enjoy the syns when I'm eating out, draw a line and then get back on plan PDQ.
The wreath is gorgeous @bubbs, hope you can hang it up soon and show it off. 🎄 Hope you stay safe when you're out for lunch today. I remember staying in Brighton one Easter during a storm. An elderly friend had been to a restaurant on the seafront and two very kind young men walked her back to her hotel, taking as arm each.😊
I stayed on plan yesterday, finishing the day on just a few syns for LTL mayo. I was driving last night so no wine syns. I went to a dance in a village in the New Forest and the first turning I took off the main road had a huge tree blocking the road. I had to do a 13 point turn to go back and the sensors on my car were going mad as it was such a narrow lane. Fortunately there was no livestock to negotiate in the dark, as I usually do, as any self respecting NF pony was sheltering from the storm. 🤣
Hope things are settling down for you now you're at home again @Jellybaby. I must make some more meatballs now we've got the oven up and running. 👍🏼
I'm very jealous of your lamb for lunch @joedenise. I know it can be fatty but I love it, especially a rolled breast or shoulder which I stuff. I much prefer it to a leg joint.😋 Today we're having roast chicken as I'm having a bit of a test run for Christmas dinner. I'm absolutely loving the induction hob which is much faster than my old one so I need to get used to all the timings.
I will post some pictures of the kitchen soon but I'm still in the process of 'moving in'. I moved all the freezer stuff yesterday and did the first wash in my new machine. Today I'm going to do the fridge stuff and we still have some builder's tools around as he's not quite finished and we haven't chosen furniture for the garden room part. That can wait until the new year though.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- tbc ,probably a JP with something ( P,S,F)
D- roast chicken with all the trimmings (P,S,F)
Syns- BGTY sausages 2, HM gravy 4, weekend wine😁1 -
Time ran away with me this morning as I was doing my dress! Was having trouble doing the buttonholes as it's different on this machine to my old one but sorted it eventually! All the buttonholes are done, the buttons sewn on and it fits pretty well. I still need to catch stitch the facings on the seams where I had to adjust it and do the hem and then it will be completely done. Will then just need washing and probably a final pressing before being put away for our holiday.
As time ran away I ended up swapping our meals over so it's going to be roast lamb this evening which I'll need to put on shortly as it takes much longer than I was expecting - 2 hours plus resting time. I'm sure when I used to cook breast of lamb it didn't take that long.
Glad you're loving the induction hob - I wouldn't be without mine. I've had one for nearly 25 years now. It does take a bit of getting used to but as you say it's much quicker.
Right just going to have a cup of tea and then start dinner.

Surprising how quick time goes Denise!
