Nothing wrong with staying in - who wants to spend 3 hours queuing in a smelly bar to pay 17.50 for a pint which some drunken idiot then manages to spill all over your shoes....
I'm using tonight to help with my debt free aspirations - I'm working behind a bar at a private party from 7 till 3, earning 14pound an hour, not bad for a nights work!
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

I'm staying in too. I think OH may go out to some friends, but they are not people I spend any time with, so I am happy for him to go out, and for me to veg on the sofa, with the remains of my Christmas Chocs and my laptop, and enjoy whatever rubbish is on the telly!

Happy New Year, wherever you may spend it :D

Well I'm going to my parents' house now, after having made butter for a couple of hours. If I don't catch people on, then HAPPY NEW YEAR, whether you're in, out, or shaking it all about. :D

  • What are you lot like! You make me giggle! Actually I remember one year when I was living at the parents, I really wanted to stay in, slob about, have cheese sarnies, watch tv and drink my barcardi.

    Parents went out.

What actually happened was I was dragged out to the local pub by a friend who wouldn't say no, then we went back to her house where her parents were there but I thought, no, it's ok, I can get home just before midnight. No such luck. Her dad refused to let me walk home by myself (although I'd done that every other weekend of the year!!!!!) and I ended up getting home at 2am. Had the s#dding sandwich, a drink and went to bed. Only to be workn up at 4am by my drunken parents!!!!!!

This year we are going to friends and I am driving but I don't mind. These are friends whose company I enjoy wether I drink or not!

I'm going to much the same party! I'm driving though so I get to wake up in my own bed tomorrow. Need to have a nap first as I've been working all day and won't make the bells otherwise...
