I'm with you. I have promised OH I will go with him to some friends and then possibly out the to village pub. I can't really be bothered.

I've had a stonking cold since Boxing day and could do with an early night, but I know he will be upset is I stay at home. But then it's just their living room and I'm driving so maybe it wont be so bad.................. hopefully!

Once upon a time you wouldn't have stopped me.....now the thought of not sleeping in my own bed, not poddling about my own home in my Pj's, not going to my own toilet..:D ...well you get the picture, just doesn't appeal.

Can't get out of it as OH is setting off early and I'll be 'expected' later on.

There will also be an expectation that I'll get slightly inebriated and be a bit life and soul of the party type, but I can't be !!!!!d.:rotfl:

Although I don't actually have a party to not want to go to, so that's even sadder! :o

    Same as me Snaggles

To be honest, I'd rather be here with you lot, than out somewhere spending a fortune, in a packed pub then walking home in the cold

Actually it won't start because the battery is dead and I haven't yet got a new one.

I need to find a cheap one from somewhere, however because I am fairly capable it is expected that I will get the jump leads out and jump start the car and then drive over.

    Great innit.

  • Apperently Staying in is the New going out.

    Trendsetters we are :T

I cannot be A***d with all the hassle of going out so will have a party at home with my OH and 2 DD's (6 &4). As long as that b****y High school musical CD does not find its way onto the playlist. Heard it since Xmas day:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • Yup I'm happy to admit to being a boring fart too! I used to love the pub on NYE but not any more. Of course, having a 7 year old is a good excuse for not going out - it's hell getting a babysitter tonight!! :D Wanna borrow him :p

I love snuggling up with a glass of something nice in my own house nowadays - on any night really not just New Year's Eve!! Now that probably IS sad :rotfl:
Proud to be dealing with my debt!
