I cannot be A***d with all the hassle of going out so will have a party at home with my OH and 2 DD's (6 &4). As long as that b****y High school musical CD does not find its way onto the playlist. Heard it since Xmas day:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • I am staying in too much to my teenagers digust who wants to go and party. however I am happy to stay in so I babysit at my house for anybody who wants a sitter it is like a creche at mine tonite. then all the young ones go to bed at 10pm and we have a bottle of wine and a dvd

    Works for me

    happy new year everyone

  • i hate new year and am caught up in a quandry. DD is going to a party which i have been asked to help out at which is cool and then the option is to either stay there through the bells or leave to go to a celidh/watchnight thing with DD and her mates (and maybe some of mine) OR after the party, meet best mate and go see Leon Jackson in a nightclub (but dont know what would do with DD or where I would find the money for the ticket!)

I will end up letting someone down and I would be happy not to go to anything but bed and see the new year in some time tomorrow morning - around about 10am would work for me!

Dramaqueen, you need to join in and have a go at GH - it's really good fun.
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

  • The thing is the more I hear the thing the more I keep singing the b****y songs  . Get some strange looks from the children in MrT and sympathetic glances from the parents.

  • Never heard of GH until I read it on IA's diary. I was shopping in Hamleys in London when there was a TV set up with Sofa's and Tv screens and game consoles. Someone was playing GH and I must admit I was like a fly attracted to one of them blue zapper things you get in a butchers :rotfl:

Looks fun. Mind you I would probably find myself playing a tune from High School Musical :rotfl:
