I just read your previous posts I can't see you getting PIP from what you say. Mentioning cholesterol levels definitely won't help. Mentioning other matters that confuse the application also won't help in fact they will hinder you. Less is more.

You need to show someone who knows a little bit about PIP the form (or a copy of it) before sending it off.

If you read the PIP leaflet or web page it essentially tells you what you need to have to get PIP. Just because you think you should get PIP doesn't mean you will. So far nobody has agreed with you.

Exactly which descriptors do you think you meet? How do you meet them?

You really shouldn't post too much that's private here but you may get comments that help.

I've just read this whole thread and I have no idea what it is that you cannot do.

If I wanted to claim PIP (and it appears to me that's what you want rather than need to) I could have written your posts.  I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, severe menopause symptoms, arthritis in my shoulder and essential tremors in my hands but I can do everything I need to do, I have pain and I do have days that are harder than others but in no way would I meet the descriptors for PIP.

IMO People who are persuaded they should claim pip by misleading articles in the press do so thinking their diagnosis is enough. They have little problems with any descriptors but bend it to show they do. I say this being a CAB volunteer for years.

No, i'm not persuaded by misleading articles, it's clear this is a second PIP claim, having been unsuccessful with the first one which DWP staff asked me to make following my WCA referral. The report was full of lies and things i'd not said. I won't go into that here as there's a whole thread for it.

In this claim, I still suffer from vision and mobility issues which restrict what I can do and a new condition (osteoarthritis in the knees) has led me to claim again, i've not done so previously and if i didn't have this new condition then i wouldn't have done so. It's a matter of opinion whether osteoarthritis gives me enough problems for PIP.

Have you done a honest self assessment of specifically where you think you should score points and how many in relation to the PIP descriptors? This will establish a concise and consistent position when questioned as to what descriptors apply to you and why.
Given the tribunal thought the way they did last time I would have thought establishing a consistent position is crucial.

This is why i've sought the help of Shelter (welfare advice) from the start.

You say mobility issues restrict what you can do.  How do they affest what you can or can't do.

A general statement is no good. you need to state exactly how they affesct you.

Similarly, what doews your sight problem stop you doing.  Yoe need to explain that.

The fact that something could  get worse nd affect you more in the future is irrelevent. That would be for any future claim.
For a claim now it is how it affects you now.

I get the impression, hopefully wrongly, that the OP thinks that just having a condition on the list of those potentially entitling a person to PIP automatically means they will qualify, irrespective of how much that condition affects them.
That is absolutely not the case.  For example, I've had arthritis in both knees for many years following a motorcycle accident.  The knees are uncomfortable all the time, and quite painful some of the time.  I can still get about without the need for any artificial aids so would almost certainly not be at a level the qualify for PIP.
I sympathise having damaged my knee badly after a motorcycle accident.  I had 3 operations and was told I would eventually need a replacement which I had when I was 58.  Have you looked at the possibility of having your knees replaced?  For many people joint replacements give them a new lease if life

Just a general observation, but the adverts you see which say things along the lines of "If you suffer from any of these conditions you can claim....." certainly don't help.  Anybody can claim any benefit they want but that doesn't mean they will get it.
My local newspaper prints these articles almost weekly. They include a list of conditions that will get you £600+ a month. Of course people jump on it and apply not understanding that conditions or diagnosis don't matter.
I thought PIP paid the same as Attendance Allowance.  AA is nowhere near £600 a month.  The higher rate is roughly £470 a month although it’s paid 4 weekly so these articles are very misleading.

These articles pushing 'benefits' are all over Google it's called Discover search especially on mobile phones it's disgusting. You can turn off the AI (it's not even real newspaper stories) in your Google settings https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/9504726

    osteoarthritis in the knees

That can of course get you PIP but you'd need to back it up with professional and personal evidence.

I'm not sure why you are bothering Shelter either I think they have plenty already to do. You can obviously type and write so I don't see any reason to go to them. Them doing it IMO is MORE likely not to get an award. They are not necessarily experts. You can do the work here and elsewhere to complete your claim.

As I said if you have read the descriptors and think you meet them then you can go for the claim but you have to realise that there's 1000s of illnesses and ailments that would never get you PIP.
