As above... fresh eyes... focus on the criteria and how it is applied.. including in relation to aids and reliability criteria. I would go back to square one and honestly appraise yourself... and determine how you will get an award or quit if you cannot see a path to such. What I'm conscious of is after 24 pages I've no idea how or if you should qualify for PIP but more importantly I'm not sure you know either. So focus... get going with seeking medical support for OCD which hopefully will help you in terms of wellbeing and a potential claim... and in the meantime you can do as suggested above.. start in your own time at own pace looking at how any disablements play out relevant to activity criteria."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack2

I have to agree with the bit in bold. There is an awful lot of posts in this thread including some incredibly helpful suggestions, in particular the material to read linked by @Spoonie_Turtle, but there is also a lot of superfluous noise that, even if it's important to you and it feels better to mention it, it's not actually relevant to what you are hoping to achieve.Muttleythefrog said:As above... fresh eyes... focus on the criteria and how it is applied.. including in relation to aids and reliability criteria. Whilst I could have missed it, it is a long thread with 25 pages, I still have not see anywhere that you have done an honest self assessment according to the PIP descriptors, explained where and why you think you should score points and if so, how many points for each specific descriptor. Until you've done that it's very difficult to know whether you should or should not qualify.2 -
Im going to say this from a good place, it’s clear to me that the OP doesnt reach the high threshold for PIP at present and on the basis of the info provided. And further more given the potential changes unlikely to do so until their is significant change to their conditions,
The OP struggles to understand the principle of the activities and achieving an outcome, repetitively, to a set outcome, in a timely fashion and the majority of the time. I feel that they aren’t fully aware of their conditions and the impact theses have on each activity (and fully understand they get on with life). The Op needs to focus one each activity, id suggest doing their own questionnaire an activity a week before their next pip application.Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.

Would the DWP know that OP has just had a pip claim rejected for zero points & then start another in a short time span, given they must have some system that links via NI no, or such to a person.
So if they go in too soon, with new conditions ( I know pip not based on these) that it will be picked up & doubt is already there for the claim?
End of the day I think @peteuk has hit the nail on the head, given this is the 2nd long running thread.Life in the slow lane1 -
Yes they would and they will have a copy of the old application forms and evidence on their system. Any new or contradictory information will be apparent.born_again said:Would the DWP know that OP has just had a pip claim rejected for zero points & then start another in a short time span, given they must have some system that links via NI no, or such to a person.

Yep, it's 9 years ago now but when I had my PIP assessment the assessor commented (pleasantly in conversation) that my handwriting had got worse. I'm dyslexic, nothing to do with the claim but she'd clearly seen my previous DLA forms. She's right I can barely read it either.3

They would only look at the last report as this gives them a basis to work from. The assessor doesnt get enough prep time to dig through previous PIP questionaires.marcia_ said:

All above points are noted. Thanks for the input.
I'm still waiting for my assessment report and it's been 2 weeks since requesting it. I might have to call them again and it's a long wait to speak to someone, last time after 2pm it took 45 mins.0 -
That's unlikely to get any better, in fact it may just get worse unless AI starts botting the calls.tifo said:All above points are noted. Thanks for the input.
