Im really sorry to say but if your OCD was so terrible why would you not mention it in your first application?

Already addressed by previous posts?  Very often people adapt to things without realising just how bad those things are or have become, until something suddenly makes us see the reality.  Especially for conditions that started out mild then progressed - it just becomes your 'nornal' and it's easy to forget how it feels to live unencumbered by it.

Don't take this as '100% siding with OP', I'm addressing this as a wider issue because we see this kind of attitude pertaining all sorts of different illnesses and conditions ('if it was that bad why didn't you say anything / seek help sooner?'). It really doesn't help people seek the support they need if they feel - quite understandably - that they won't be believed and that it'd easier to carry on suffering than face fighting to be believed let alone get any sort of support for it.

Generally speaking many people cope with illness or disablement and don't recognise it as such - this has been addressed. There's also the issues of embarrassment or scepticism as to whether you'll be believed.. I've experienced the latter myself... in fact when I first presented with OCD and depression symptoms to a GP they told me to take a holiday.. it was hmmm over a decade later before I returned to a GP about it... the start of a permanent holiday as I'd tried to leave work by the 4th floor window. Obviously in this case the lack of mentioning it and lack of seeking help for it will potentially pose problem of it being considered or believed. But with the assessor report imminent in receipt (I understand) we'll see what the assessor made of it or didn't... it's possible they tried to find a middle of road response by accepting there may be OCD related issues but the lack of documenting them meant they need to be considered in future following appropriate assessment in healthcare services.

simply didn't think about it until, as some have said why it can happen, it occurred in the assessment that it's a problem because of the questions being asked. This assessment was 1 hour 30 mins on telephone so quite a lot of questions whereas the previous assessment in 2021 was 45 mins face to face and that assessor included statements not made by me or responded to for any question. They were easy to disprove (and i gave the evidence) but the tribunal panel didn't believe me! I'm not concentrating on my previous PIP claim in this regard, i'm mentioning it for comparison.

OCD is not conveniently made up for this assessment or i would have included it in the form and my previous PIP claim. There's no specific questions in the form about touching things, or cleanliness or public areas, transport etc.

There are no set questions,  it is dependant on the conditions that you declare and the answers you provide on the questionaire.  Yes the questions start in simular areas eg mobility work up from 20 to 200 meters but the assessor has free range to ask pertinent questions.

Received my PIP letter, got 0 points on everything whereas previously i got 2 points for 'managing therapy' (i can't put my eye drops in as blind eye).

I'm still waiting for the assessment report but the case manager says things (you can, you said) which i can't and didn't. Apparently driving a car means everything is fine (my answer was 'only when i can' and 'i don't always drive'). And because i answered all the questions i have no mental or cognitive issues.

Time for MR ..... hope the assessment report comes soon.

Pretty hard to convince someone you have cognitive and mental conditions that effect you badly but allow you to focus to drive a car even if only occasionally.

So is driving a car a 'standard' reason to decline any points? Hence no need for Motability scheme as they'd not get the points for it? I don't want a car out of it, my point is people receive enhanced mobility and still drive or drive otherwise anyway.

You've not read that i have mobility conditions too despite them not believing that they affect me.

The decision letter was sent the day after the assessment so the case manager seems to have just agreed with the assessment report and 0 points across all descriptors and not spent time looking at the claim ...... I think.

If you have the mental capacity and physical ability to drive a car you then can not also claim mental and physical disabilities which would normally mean one couldn't drive.

But that wont be the only reason you were given 0 points in every category. You just don't meet the criteria despite your insistence to repeatedly try and make yourself fit them.
