Thank you. I'll be 57 in September and want to finish completely, but my current role isn't particularly taxing, I get left alone by management for the most part and am well paid, so I'm finding it difficult to justify leaving it to myself. I've already stepped down from full time to 30 hours over 3 days, but can't really cut my hours further as they won't get backfilled and the job is too big to do in less hours than that - though I'm sure my employers would be happy to have me try! I've been told by several people I'll know when I've had enough and am ready to go - was that the case with you?enthusiasticsaver said:
How exciting on the retirement. I retired at 58 about 7 years ago now and don't regret it at all.Caeraugirl said:#21 Caeraugirl declaring £1737.77 for January
My regular Vanguard pension payment has gone out, and I've added interest from two of the three regular savers from last year to my 2025 savings pot with another small lump of interest due in a couple of days. I'm running with just two regular savers this year as I'm still considering full retirement in the summer...#15 Save £12k in 2026 £4500/£120002 -

Started with £200 into my Cash ISA for January. Hoping for some more before the month ends, although it depends on what 'extras' are in my pay at the end of the month.Debt Free: 01/01/2020

Can I join with a target of £1,500 please? Lower than usual due to buying a house this year so finances will be changing. I note that I need to report by the end of February.2

Please can you add me in with a target of £24,000 - not sure if I'll make it, but something to aim at

After looking at last year’s total, I would like to aim for a target of £11,000 this year.
If at all possible, could I keep #60 please? 😁
Thanks for running the challenge.2 -
#21 Caeraugirl with another £25 for January
I had a win on PB for the first time in ages, so am adding that to my savings.#15 Save £12k in 2026 £4500/£120003 -
I will be aiming to make mortgage overpayments once we've bought the house, which I won't count in this challenge. I'd like to save a little though as well, hence a low target. Hope to make some renovations at some point.3
