I confirm I can see my October cashback balance too.  Chase App version 2.44.1 on Android 14.

  • Looking at the first post…..am I reading this right that transferring £1500 out to an account elsewhere counts as qualifying spending?

No this would not count. Only debit card spending counts, with exceptions as detailed by Chase in their cashback T&Cs.

I am glad to have the information, which I did not know. Does anyone know the same thing for the Santnader Edge credit card cashback (though I should probably make a separate post).

Yes you should  :) You need to check the specific T&Cs for the Santander cashback but all of these schemes are broadly similar (actual spend, no cash withdrawals or transfers etc).

The Santander cashback is not easy to monitor as they don't give you a breakdown by transaction.
