Chase Cashback - How do you know if you've earned the maximum £15 per month

Hi is there an easy way to track if you're still under the £15 limit per month for cashback?

There doesn't seem to be any option to view cashback earned per month, all I can view is every transaction and the respective cashback each transaction earned.  It seems a huge oversight (or probably deliberate) that the seemingly the only way to calculate if I can still earn cashback is to get my calculator out.

I move money in and out of the account, so checking my overall monthly spend doesn't help as that's always over £1500 as the account classes transfers in and out as "spending"

You use the card as normal and the cashback will stop when you've reached £15 - future purchases will not earn cashback but the card will clearly still work. Does it matter?

Well yes, he may have another card he wants to earn the cashback on instead and doesnt want to make needless extra purchases.

Or OP wants to make sure every £ spent is maximally earning cashback. Quite understandable tbh.
  • Clear down the cashback account at the end of each month so that only the current month's accumulated cashback is shown.

That wouldn't quite work.  If I spent £500 on the last day of this month, the cashback wouldn't go into the pot until next month, even though it's from last month's cashback allowance.  So clearing the balance on the final day of the month wouldn't necessarily clear all of the cashback earned in that month.

Does your app not show amount you have spent in the month (and previous months). Mine shows 'spotlight on October' with amount I have spent in the month. A £1500 spend is required per month for the £15 so can be monitored through that?

Under “Rewards”, I can see “Activity”, which lists all the rewards credits by month. I can also see anything still pending.

With all due respect it is for me. I have no idea what device you are on where it isnt viewable.

  • It is there for me too - Android.

@skia - Did you scroll down on first screen, tap Rewards, then slight scroll and tap on Everyday cashback section (it's not obvious that it's a link)?

You should then see something like this:
