2023 model is within the £750 budget.
Again, look at the likes of Richer Sounds for a proper warranty(if they actually sell these)0 -

I would put it differently. A TV display utilises a combination of light and colour. Quantum Dot/Nanocell speaks to the colour aspect. The LEDs are the light aspect. Ideally you would want Quantum Dot in conjunction with MiniLED.
You can have Quantum Dot but with normal LED or just LEDs around the edges. Most people overlook these things.https://youtu.be/OLcL5Cez_L4
Bewildering to most I'm sure.

Definitely muddying the waters for someone who just wants a half decent TV in their lounge.
Very few people calibrate the TV when they get it and just want something that will work out of the box. They won't be disappointed with most of the mid range TV's from the top manufacturers, especially if they are coming from a budget 5 year old one.
smallzoo2 - Smart to wait for the sales....Hopefully you will be able to dip into the next level for your budget....Don't sweat it too much, it'll just spoil the experience of getting a new TV...👍😉😁

I have a question.
I have a Sony LED TV, 43 inches. I live in a small studio flat so I'm guessing this is the ideal size for me.
I've had it for about 6 years, and I'm still happy with the picture quality, although I must admit I've no experience with OLED and mini LED TV's. So nothing to compare with, really.
I presently subscribe to Netflix and the Disney Channel, both at 4.99 with adverts, and only providing 1080p images, not 4k or UHD.
Is it fair to suggest if I upgrade my TV at some point, I'll also need to take out more expensive streaming services?
Thanks.0 -
No, you will not have to take out the higher tier packages of the streaming services with an upgraded TV.
Of course if you want to take advantage of the 4K/UHD TV to it's fullest you will need to move up. That said, the TV will upscale 1080p pictures to some extent, so you will probably be happy to save the money and stay on the 1080p package.
Anyway, the upshot is that you will have the choice still.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

OP wants a bright TV, that means paying attention to the light source. MiniLED being the recognised best for that. Quantum Dot, pays more attention to colours. Having both covered is optimal and can be achieved within budget.
You've had your say... Allow others to read and learn without interruption.
