That's the trouble with TV's I guess ..we are going from a 5 year old TV which has been brilliant to choosing a decent TV for our budget and room...and the fact if I buy a U8N at £1200 it will come with a 5 year warranty so last0

My last two TV's have been Sony models and I find the brand excellent.0

So compares to our last TV and for a much lower budget what would this one be like ?
TCL PF650K 65"
It's got very good reviews as a 65" for the average user and less than £500 ?

Not experienced it personally, but reviews are generally kind...It seems to be a 'Fire' TV with amazons OS. An alternative for just a little more could be TCL 65C655K | 65 inch QLED 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart TV | Richer Sounds Which has Google TV as the OS....smallzoo2 said:So compares to our last TV and for a much lower budget what would this one be like ?TCL PF650K 65"

To be honest you should see a major difference in the picture quality over the Techwood whichever you choose.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you
A PIRATE
Not an Alcoholic...!0 -
Thanks a lot. We would push the budget to maybe £750 if it would make a bit differenceRumRat said:

I was in Richer Sounds a few months ago and one of the helpful staff told me the best time to shop if you want a bargain is during the New Year sales, which I suppose is obvious, but also around April when new stock arrives and the older models are discounted.0

Look at it this order: OLED, Mini LED, Full Array Local Dimming...the rest. Ignore all the fancy descriptions and look for those things if you are looking for a bright screen,
For £750 you can get a Mini-LED. TCL don't have Freeview Play.0 -
Example(since people are suggesting TCL): https://www.tcl.com/uk/en/tvs/c841k

Not sure if Richer Sounds has any in stock.
Not recommendations, but rather choosing on specification.
