I doubt any provider would be quick opening an account if you have not been with them before. Do you have any other accounts where you could open an additional account?s71hj said:
Still not fixed. Is there another quick to open current account with somebody other than Chase I could use instead?13thlegion said:0 -
I have HSBC Coop and First direct for their regular saver and Santander which I actually genuinely use as a current account, and Kroo but Kroo is a genuinely pretty decent interest rate. I'm with Virgin Money but just the regular saver no current account.VXman said:

I've received the £180 bonus, do I have to wait for any period of time or for any direct debits to go through before I can withdraw it?
Also can I now switch this account to say the Nationwide, for their offer or do you have to wait for 30 days etc or for any direct debits to go through?
Thanks0 -
None of the offers I have ever seen have ever said you can't take the money out immediately.wenger08 said:I've received the £180 bonus, do I have to wait for any period of time or for any direct debits to go through before I can withdraw it?

As for switching immediately - you should read the terms and conditions of the account switch offer to see if this is ok and there is no right of clawback but normally yes you can switch immediatelySam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I'm wondering if the reason I'm getting the fault is I ticked no debit card for the chase current account as it was my spare one not my original one but in fact all Chase accounts "share" the same debit card but have different account numbers.s71hj said:

Just put in your card number in, as long as you have one Chase account left it will default to that account.s71hj said:I'm wondering if the reason I'm getting the fault is I ticked no debit card for the chase current account as it was my spare one not my original one but in fact all Chase accounts "share" the same debit card but have different account numbers.
