I use my phone here 99% of the time and you can easily navigate the forum and use the search box.  Nobody told you to appeal.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

i dont understand why people dont follow advice
  • I did follow the advise and tried to read the threads but i don’t understand it, I have learning disabilities and struggle with things like this. I just want to know if i just ignore it or I have to do something. If I have to do something I’ll get help with somebody who can navigate the threads for me

You have a debt collector's letter.

The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread explains exactly how to deal with debt collector's letters, but to summarise that post - ignore them.
  • Letter through from HM Courts & Tribunal Service now arrived saying I have to respond before the response date. Fine has now gone up to £263.16. I really don’t understand the newbies thread and what needs to be done if anything. I was told to just ignore the threatening letters but looks like it has been escalated. Should I fill in the Response Pack. Is there a template I put in to the Defence section? Any help would be very much appreciated. I don’t find it easy navigating through the threads at all

No filling in any forms,  no paperwork at all

Post the issue date from the claim form,  top right

Post a redacted picture of the POC on the lower left of the claim form,  after hiding your VRM details first

I presume that the top left states Britannia Parking with DCB Legal below   ?

There is no fine,  just an outstanding unpaid invoice,  typically £100, the rest being add ons

I can see the claim reference and the password on the right,  remove,  redact properly and replace please

Britannia via DCB Legal,  issue date 14 January 2025

I bet that the issue date in the POC is incorrect

Please change the thread title to something more suitable like

Britannia Parking,  DCB Legal court claim 2025

You've left your Claim Number and MCOL password clearly visible on that image.
That's enough information for anyone - who may not have your best interests at heart - to file a rubbish Defence on your behalf.

With a Claim Issue Date of 14th January, you have until Monday 3rd February 2025 to file an Acknowledgment of Service('AOS'), but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an AOS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Having filed an AOS in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 17th February 2025 to file a Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the AOS guidance.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an AOS, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an AOS has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.
  • Re-edited redacted image. Hopefully that’s better
