Very misty damp here, did cut lawn yesterday, but as grass was so damp it kept clogging the mower up. Still all done now.Kitchen is done.Food items got ready to make curry for tonight.Apple that OH 'found' yesterday are going to be HM apple crumble, so I can do that and make the curry at the same time.Builders next door, kindly brought round all the old wood and pallets for me, so it is a day of chopping and chain sawing, once I sort out what is needed.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Work shift done, bed is made, breakfast dishes washed and one wash load in machine which will have to go on airers as it's a bit damp here too.
Plans are to finish this cuppa, take Poppet for a walk and hoover through. Then I need continue shortening curtains before more paid stuff.Spend less now, work less later.7 -

Hi Lovelies.
I used to be a Flylady many moons ago. Old flyladies will probably remember...
I had to come and post this evening.
DD1 aka Miss Shattered, is now a Mummy with a home of her own. Her partner sent me a photo of their dinner with a voice note telling me they were having
"Liver Á La Piggers" for their dinner tonight.
It made me laugh & feel incredibly nostalgic. I wonder if @Pigpen knows how much of an impact she had? It's got to be a good 15 years on. My daughter carries on those values in her own household. ❤️

Hi all
That's a lovely story SS, i am sure Pigpen will appreciate that!
Just a quick check in from me, I have been at a work conference most of the day. Very tired.
I did have a general tidy up, put clean washing away and put another load over the airer when I got home. Some bits of the house need a proper clean.
Tomorrow is another day.7 -
It's Saturday and I don't have to do anything I don't want to! Morning everyone.
Wordle in two and connections with no lives lost.
Things I think I will do today are make cake, write DSs birthday card, dailies, dog walk, more curtain sewing and putting up the poppies at the Memorial if it's not too early.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.6 -
Morning all xx
Had a bad night, thought about giving up and getting up at 5.40 am, but it was dark and I was snug in bed...woke up at 8.35 am with that 'slept in too late' hungover feeling. Heyho.
I'm up, made my bed, brought down the laundry hamper, completed Wordle in six, completed Connections with one life lost, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, and I'm supping Brew 2.
My priority today has to be to unblock the kitchen sink. I simply abandoned it while I completed my working week. And it hasn't miraculously unblocked itself in the mealtime. 😔
Round 1
Finish brew 2
Shower and dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Put new bin bags in bins
Procrastinate? Me? 😇
Empty cupboard under sink
Put bowl under u bend
Unscrew waste pipe*
Clear blockage
Screw back waste pipe
* Hope I can I don't have the strongest grip!
If successful:
Sort washing into loads
Set first load swishing
WUDUPA
If not successful:
Actually I might ask PJ if he has a plunger I can borrow before attempting my Mario act.
Might just catch them before they go to town....
Rxx
ETA. They're in town. S is going to buy me a plunger and drop it off on their way home. Better get dressed.
