The N seems to aim to be a visual pun on knot. Possibly not successful...jameseonline said:The lettering/font isn't great, the N is inconsistent with the rest of the letters.masonic said:I think they are just trying to appeal to a slightly different target market..."Anyone got any salmon? Sorted!!"
The N looks very Virgin Money.
Green & Black, seems very Lloyds.
Green, yellow black doesn't look great either, welcome to text looks ok but then our new look is very word art isn't it?
Honestly from what I've seen so far it looks a mess, childish.
I doubt they have much to save either…happybagger said:If that is their indeed their target market pictured, I'd suggest they had an alternative way of doing business with them other than a "branch visit" for everythingmasonic said:I think they are just trying to appeal to a slightly different target market..."Anyone got any salmon? I learnt from a quiz recently that the Nottingham Building Society offered the first internet banking service in the UK...happybagger said:If that is their indeed their target market pictured, I'd suggest they had an alternative way of doing business with them other than a "branch visit" for everythingmasonic said:I think they are just trying to appeal to a slightly different target market..."Anyone got any salmon? The quiz was factually wrong if they used that wording. Nottingham BS arguably introduced online banking via Prestel in 1983, but Prestel wasn't the internet - it was very much a walled garden, more like Sky Active and similar 'digital text' services.TomJ said:I learnt from a quiz recently that the Nottingham Building Society offered the first internet banking service in the UK...happybagger said:If that is their indeed their target market pictured, I'd suggest they had an alternative way of doing business with them other than a "branch visit" for everythingmasonic said:I think they are just trying to appeal to a slightly different target market..."Anyone got any salmon? I think it is quite obvious that the "new look" is targeting future borrowers, not savers. The reason Building Societies need savers money is to lend, mortgage is the core element of BS business.Theleak250 said:I doubt they have much to save either…happybagger said:If that is their indeed their target market pictured, I'd suggest they had an alternative way of doing business with them other than a "branch visit" for everythingmasonic said:I think they are just trying to appeal to a slightly different target market..."Anyone got any salmon?
