They are already in place, and butted up? Can't think of an easy way, but certainly brush PVA firmly and repeatedly into the butt, and repeatedly flex the boards along the joint as you do so, so it works its way right in. Wipe away excess with a damp cloth. It'll help, but no idea how much.
