No movement on debt repayments other than standard DDs. Struggling to motivate myself to do anything. My Dad is in hospital. His bladder is destroyed and he is now using a catheter for ever. I’m currently arranging for family members to fly over in shifts to take care of him.

It’s overwhelming. He refuses to move back to the UK. I think my only option is to take early retirement in November and move out to care for him. I’ve no idea how I will cope financially if that has to happen.

My cousin is visiting him at the moment so she is keeping me up to date. I’ve just come off a video call with him. He’s stoic about it all. Doesn’t stop me from worrying though.

What does your dad think should happen? Assuming he's clear enough of mind to decide. Sadly he will need to fund it himself if there's no social care where he's living x

So sorry to hear this @Nintud, be gentle with yourself and I understand the worry and stress about what the future may hold. Sometimes only time will tell, frustrating as that may be.
