    Heading for a day in n Salamanca. It’s a nice dry day, perfect for mooching, sangria outside, and a church, museum or gallery.

    I had a lovely day, visited a very pretty cathedral. Had a lovely mushroom risotto, followed by a mooch around the city.

    Back in Avila now and about to have a long soak in the bath.

    Total cost for the long weekend in Spain was £438. That includes, flights, hotels, internal transport, meals and tips, entry to the Cathedral in Salamanca, entry to Avila walls, and all souvenirs.

    I’m happy with that 😁

    Other than visits to my Dad, the next trip abroad is a biggie, 12 days in India. Saving for that starts tomorrow.
