It's like the final gallop or push to the finish line with Very. But not worth winning if it puts pressure on you the rest of the month, the end is most definitely in sight though.

That’s a great situation to be in, and you can treat yourself with the interest.RelievedSheff said:
We will be in the same situation soon with our credit card. I'm resisting the temptation so far especially as it is on 0% and the savings are earning some interest. Remains to be seen if I can resist until the last repayment in November thoughNintud said:
I need to see how much the car repair bill is and how much I spend on my trip to Spain then juggle my budget for the rest of my pay month, so Very will still be around until at least the last week of January. It sucks to be so close to paying it off, but having to restrain myself from paying the final chunk off.RelievedSheff said:Certainly don't leave yourself tight on budget elsewhere. That defeats the object.

£3 payment received from Vinted. I’ve matched it and sent £6 to Very. Debt to Very is now £106. Another Vinted payment should arrive later today and I’ll be in double figures!MBNA 430/14000

I think your idea of matching vinted is a good one. You don't want to leave yourself without enough funds and have to put it on a card it kind of defeats the purpose.*Dad loan - £7000 - £7000
*Tesco Credit Card (0% 9/9/27) - £3623.18 - £3623.18
*Nationwide Loan - £11,000 -£11000.00
*Total Debt - £21623.18/£21623.18*
Savings
*Sinking Fund - £1400/2000
*Emergency Fund - £0/£3000

£25 Vinted sale made. I have £48 pending. As it arrives I will match it and then pay off the final few pounds, meaning Very will be paid off this week 😁
Next in the radar is the Nationwide CC. Aims mg to pay that off by the end of February.MBNA 430/14000

Another two sales and £5 more pending.
Tight budget this month. My car tax is due, and I need to put some money aside for the birthdays of three of my children in March. One is a grown up, but the others are my two youngest, including NEET who is turning 18.
I also need to save for a new passport, and I’m late getting the pooches boosters. Life is just one long list of bills.MBNA 430/14000

Just remember the number of quotes she has had don't mean anything. They could all be from friends of hers. You need to do what the MSEers said and call her bluff first before you pay off.1

My plan is to contact the garage and tell them I will only pay for repairs directly connected to the accident.weenancyinAmerica said:Just remember the number of quotes she has had don't mean anything.
