Ah I would tend to err on the side of patience, as I’ve paid off too much at once in the past and then really really struggled……you’re doing so very well, not long to go now!1

How much would you struggle if you paid it off now? If you wouldn’t then I’d pay itMFW 2025 #50: £1989.73/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00

I have to pay for the car damage this month. That’s going to make things tight. But patience isn’t my strong point!MFWannabe said:How much would you struggle if you paid it off now? If you wouldn’t then I’d pay itMBNA 237.47/13997.47

Did you get more quotes for the car damage?I’d it makes it too tight the. I’d stick with the plan; Vinted sales pay VeryMFW 2025 #50: £1989.73/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00

Compromise strategy to speed up Very repayment. I will match each Vinted payment from money in my bank account. I’ve received £4 from Vinted today, so will pay £8 to Very.MBNA 237.47/13997.47

Certainly don't leave yourself tight on budget elsewhere. That defeats the object.3

I need to see how much the car repair bill is and how much I spend on my trip to Spain then juggle my budget for the rest of my pay month, so Very will still be around until at least the last week of January. It sucks to be so close to paying it off, but having to restrain myself from paying the final chunk off.RelievedSheff said:Certainly don't leave yourself tight on budget elsewhere. We will be in the same situation soon with our credit card. I'm resisting the temptation so far especially as it is on 0% and the savings are earning some interest. Remains to be seen if I can resist until the last repayment in November thoughNintud said:
