You follow the 8 steps in the defence template thread,  no deviation,  like this victim is doing

The courts dont send out the DQ,  the CNBC in Northampton do, so keep checking your MCOL claim history

There is no allocated court yet, but in the future,  there will be

    Hello,

    So I have an update.

    Recceived this email on 22/7.

    "Usual stuff"

    DCB Legal

do I reach out to them or just wait for the Courts to send me a Directions Questionnaire?

    Wait.

But there is an important task for August:

I hope you are reading the Public Consultation thread and plan to come back in August as we discuss how to respond?

We need EVERYONE affected by unfair PCNs, useless appeal decisions and/or now threatened by court claims, to individually respond.

Sorry after some investigation I have managed to find the login again.

So on the claim on MCOL, there are no directions questionnaire. Do I just wait for this to arrive via post or does it usually only come online?

Next steps (more for me and anyone else reading):
    1. Wait for your own Directions Questionnaire from the CNBC and then complete (see https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/81302208/#Comment_81302208) & email it to the CNBC (DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk and info@dcblegal.co.uk+solicitor)
    2. Mediation - offer nominal amount
    3. Wait for claim to go to court or is dropped.

Just waiting for questionnaire to arrive now.

    Hi,

Just a question, does the questionnaire get emailed or posted?

I have not had any response so worried i mightve missed something.

This is what the claim shows online:

    Good. Here's more info:

If you want to be part of the push to change things in future, it's very important that people like you join us to reply to the new Public Consultation, to tell the Government NOW that:

    a) you have no faith in POPLA or the IAS and that there must be the SINGLE APPEALS SERVICE that the Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 *almost* promised. As long as it is independent (and only ONE appeals service, not two involved in a race to the bottom) that will give a real option to resolve disputed cases out of court.

b).  THAT THE ENRICHMENT OF 'DEBT RECOVERY FEES' MUST BE COMPLETELY BANNED. DISPUTED CASES ARE NOT SOLVED BY A THUG THIRD PARTY DEMANDING MORE MONEY AND ENGINEERING A POINTLESS 'PAYMENT PLAN'.

c). Tell them about your experience and that your case proceeded to a claim precisely because (a) and (b) above mean there is no option, no safeguard for consumers EXCEPT court.

Responses are invited to the Consultation now:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6617396/parking-code-of-practice-consultation-8-weeks-from-11th-july-2025/p1

Do it in August pleeease! We will discuss it all in more detail in the coming weeks on that thread.
