First £25 Paid!

There will be a few on these boards who know Co-op fairly well and their "quirky" systems. As the old saying goes, never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by incompetence. Either way I hope those that are owed their incentive get it.

Woo they agreed they made a mistake when assessing my account and will pay the £75 incentive. I asked for compensation and they offered a miserly £40 and I pointed out that I had invested a couple of hours into being told wrong information, being ignored and fobbed off and even having my complaint closed without proper investigation and said I thought £100 would be fair and that for £40 then I would still progress to ombudsman and after a 10min delay (like how they make you wait at car dealers...) they offered £75 and I agreed. They said I should still quality to earn the £25's hopefully automatically.miller said:Either way I hope those that are owed their incentive get it.
Thanks for the support of those on this thread it's nice to be listened to by someone!
I'll be leaving Coop as soon as this offer is done as sadly they are not what I remembered.7 -
Well done Alexland ... proud of you mate

Thanks the money is already in my account. Unexpectedly they just replied to an old secure message telling me what I would have needed to do to qualify for the £75. The machine of stupidity is still chugging away.dealyboy said:Well done Alexland ... proud of you mate

Have I successfully registered for on line banking if I have got the coop bank app?0

Long story short, I met requirements for £25 bonus around 5th of December. The confirmation email never arrived. I chased it via secure messages and received a message saying "I can see £75 has been paid to you". I replied politely pointing out that my question was about £25. To which I received a reply it will be paid within the week of the end of qualifying period. No confirmation that I met the requirements, though.Emily_Joy said:

How does that match up with working days do you think?Emily_Joy said:

Could anyone confirm that an "active" direct debit does not need to actually collect money each month to get the £25 stay bonus?0
-
Looking at the full T&Cs PDF there doesn't seem to be a definition of 'active' however given how keen they are working to deny people the incentives I would suggest playing it very safe and ensure that the DDs have a monthly collection in each of the relevant periods after the switch.kt01 said:Could anyone confirm that an "active" direct debit does not need to actually collect money each month to get the £25 stay bonus?1
