My break has come to an end , I know it has been a great two weeks . Think I will work from the office two days this week , the air con will help plus want to catch up with my colleagues.
Yesterday I took my parents to their friends in Staffordshire and I got sunburnt which is unlike me .Today I am enjoying a coffee at RH:S right now and will have a stroll round this beautiful place .I am meeting a friend Wednesday in the big shopping centre . Thursday is opticians and going to see a colleague who has broken her leg .Friday is school and then hairdressers . Another busy week .In this weather like we are having that I feel blessed that I am able to work part time .Months ago I mentioned the negative friend who I haven’t heard from since Jan . She basically said she needed more time out . I have realised after all these months that I have actually not dreaded my phone dinging anymore . I guess as you get older you realise who you enjoy in life and who you don’t .My parents are becoming more difficult to handle if that is the right terminology, I wish I had a sibling to talk it over with . My DS is very helpful though with regards to them .I also managed to spend a day with my soon to be DIL , she is a lovely person , very well suited to my DS . I have lots of trips away and events happening this year 2025 has been a good year so far .Well that ran on didn’t it . Hope everyone is able to enjoy this lovely weather . It looks like it’s around for at least 10 days in the North West .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4 -

Lovely pics.
Glad your DiL is a lovely person and right for your son.
It must be difficult being there for your parents as a solo child.
You care for them wonderfully. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Another week gone by in a blur. Back to work with a bang , worked in the office Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday was housework and met a friend for coffee, picked DGC up from school. Thursday opticians and RHS to walk with another friend. Today was school this morning , hairdresser , her husband did my hair as she has had a knee replaced , he is very good considering he left the job years ago. Plus I did my own shopping. Tomorrow, taking my dad shopping, then a cemetery visit . Then I will sit in the sun I think. We haven't had any rain in my part of the world for weeks , the sun is so lovely to see. It's been payday today but it's not officially until Sunday so won't be doing anything with it until then. Pension day is Tuesday , will be glad to get that as this month has been very spendy and May is looking not much better. My car insurance is due in about 3 weeks so I am going to do some quotes this weekend .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

I just realised you have not updated for a while.
I remember things were getting more difficult with your parents, so I am hoping you and the family are ok.
