Wow, that photo was worth waiting for. If you hadn't told me and if I didn't know your happy place, I would have said Italy!
It sounds like it is all going well with lots of nice trips and holidays in the near future.
Glad your dad is ok.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

A lovely weekend spent full of family all generations. Was spoilt yesterday by both DD and DS plus future DIL.I am still fighting the virus that everyone seems to have had , slept for 3 hours last night so I am at home today. It's not often I am off sick but I need the rest to be my best for the people who rely on me . You can't do my job under the weather .Sat watching daytime tv.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0

Feeling much better now , helped by all the sunshine we have had this week. The forecast is more of the same for next week, long may it last. Have been on lots of walks this week, trying to get my stamina back after this virus.I went to the local outlet mall with vouchers that were free to me and got some sandals , but saved the rest . Whilst there had a walk around the waterfront near to the tv buildings and the museum.Today I have been in school , which is my favourite morning of the week. Just about to make a shopping list for tomorrow but trying to keep it as low as possible.Win on the PBs this month £25 ,that will go to travel pot.Plus my vouchers £55 of them but have £30 left.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0

Shopping done yesterday , went out for a walk and met an old colleague from banking days . Parents sorted out and sat in their garden . Not much else done really, did load some things on Vinted , 3 sold as soon as . Need to sort them out later and go to the box to drop them off .Taking my youngest DGS to a party later , but today is mostly about getting ready for the week ahead.Everyone have a good day.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0

Nearly three weeks passed again , time is flying.I am now on leave for 2 weeks , usually would be abroad but having a change this year . I will soon be leaving to go to South to a friend's big birthday bash . Taking it slowly stopping off in Grantham and Cambridge today. Tomorrow visiting RHS in Essex first then on to my final place. Instead of coming home to the North West I am heading up the East Coast to North Yorkshire for a few days. The weather looks very good, glad I put some sandals in my bag.My parents are starting to become more needy and I think we are nearly at the time of maybe getting a cleaner. My dad is looking frail but he still does so much.I did my yearly review of thinking about retirement, but have decided I like my two days and will continue for another year .
Money is ok and our pay rise has added around £70 a month to my salary which is very helpful.Have booked to go back to Spain next Feb again as I did enjoy it.Time to start thinking about getting ready to leave .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2 -
