Another two months has passed by , I have been very busy with family and friends
I attended a 90th birthday in June of a dear family friend in the Lakes , she had a great time. Then a 70th birthday of another friend in mid June, she had a surprise party. Have had nice visits to garden centre, RHS , had a lovely day with an MSE friend .Went with eldest DGS to the local to me snow slopes and went on the snow park , had a ball but I creaked a lot the next day. We have had sports day , eldest leaves primary this year so we have been treated to a school musical play this week. Eldest DGS got his SATS results and he surprised us all even his teacher , very proud of him . The other two have had awards for various sporting and academic things at school in the past 8 weeks. I have had the best time in school on Friday mornings and will probably have a tear in my eye next Friday when we say goodbye to this years class . I am definitely returning in September to be with the next years class.Later today I will be travelling south to have a short break with another MSE friend , the weather looks like it's going to be great. Then we are into school break , I am taking the DGC away for a few days to Yorkshire , wish me luck. Plus there will be zoo, farm and seaside visits at some point in the 6 weeks.Work has need very hard this last 2 months , dealing with the issues of some customers is out of my depth occasionally but it seems to be a recurring thing. My parents continue to cause me some stress , but it's because they are so determined to do everything themselves , I wish they would pay for some help but they won't yet.Money wise I have lots going on but have a record of where all the money is coming from to pay for all upcoming expenses . I have tried reinvesting my isa this week and that was a lot of hassle with one provider so have moved it elsewhere with a slightly better rate. Luckily I haven't had to touch my pension lump sum since I got it in Dec 22 and I am happy about that.Need to get a suitcase out and pack.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4 -

I have had a couple of mishaps with appts this week , I had my hair appt for today instead of yesterday . Luckily my live hairdressers husband did my hair as she was out for the rest of the day . He is a hairdresser but only when required he did an ok job . Then I was an hour early.fir the dentist yesterday 😂. I got seen about 30. Mins later . More haste less speed and more checking I think .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Thanks for your update. The work with the school sounds enjoyable.
I'm glad all is well with the parents.
Doing things with the DGS may have left you creaky, those aches will fade but the memories won'tIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Friday last day in school . My cousin is visiting Saturday from USA and I have my walking group . Sunday I am resetting for work and working school holidays out . Last Friday in school and for eldest DGS last day at primary. There will be a few tears today . I am looking forward to spending time with DGC .i am sure spending will be up this month . The hospital appt was 2.5 hours long yesterday but was needed for mum .Today is payday so need to fill some pots up and pay CC . The savers that were maturing have all gone to their places yesterday after the shenanigans of last week .That’s it for today .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1

Another week passed by in a blur. Took parents out twice on different shopping expeditions, mum now has new shoes and clothes . Dad has a few wants not needs 😆. Took the children to the big indoor play area at the shopping centre , weatherspoons for lunch it wasn't nice food at all , we got money knocked off the bill. Then we went to RHS which was free through my membership, we had a wander an an ice cream. My DD has been buying high school uniform for eldest DGS , a different tie in every school year what an absolute money making scheme. £21 for a jumper , I feel for parents who are on limited budgets . Plus then all the other stuff pe kit, shoes etc.
This morning have been out to M@S for GF stuff bread mostly and got all yellow sticker stuff so all gone in the freezer. Had a sneaky Costalot but did have a free drink. The rest of the day is about getting ready for work and the week ahead as it's another busy one with it being school holidays . I think we are doing museums one day in our nearest big city, plus an old Victorian street .Batter got off here now.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3
