If it is the same version then yes you can. Apologies! Your post sounded like you'd found an old version stored somewhere (quite a few people tried that in early Summer to try to get out of compulsory Mediation but it isn't possible to avoid).

It does seem like it's compulsory mediation now as there is no box or provision for an answer to question A Settlement/Mediation on either the paper form sent to me or the pdf I found online. See attached photos.

How do you suggest I respond to this, please?

Exactly as coached already in the Template Defence first 12 steps, which are there to stop people asking on thread after thread about the basic first steps!

Can anyone comment on my response to the questions D, thanks.

    D. Suitability for determination without a hearingD1 Do you consider that this claim is suitable for determinationwithout a hearing, such as; by a judge reading and considering thecase papers, witness statements, and other documents filed by theparties, making a decision, and giving a note of reasons for thatdecision?
    Answer: No

Reason: "The defendant believes a hearing is necessary for this claim. Verbal testimony and cross-examination are crucial to assessing evidence, especially in complex cases. A hearing ensures the defendant and the claimant can fully present their arguments, promoting fairness and transparency in the decision-making process."

Unless it has already been allocated to your local court, you should put "Civil National Business Centre".

It has not been allocated to any court, it's from Gladstone as it came with this as the front page.

You are not expected to do anything with the copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire.

Wait for your own N180 from the CNBC.

Doesn't that checklist you were once following explain that?

But then, you stated on 10th October...

    Hi,

I received a DQ from the court and am in the process of answering the questions.
    So what's going on here?

Are you responding to a communication from the Court or one from the Claimant?

I confused the DQ from the claimant for that of the court. I struggling to really understand this things but its clear to me now that the DQ is from the claimant and not the court as its got Gladstone on the cover page.

I still following the 12 step am just asking confirmation so i don't amke silly mistakes.

I appreciate your time KeithP, Thanks.
