hey, just stopped by after thread was recommended by someone on another thread and wanted to say I am so impressed and inspired by your actions over the past few days. I know that the initial euphoria of success does lead to a bit of a drag in emotions but just wanted to let you know you have another friend standing by and cheering you on. Hope you have a restful sleep tonight.

Whats the plan for tomorrow? I find it helps me if i write three things relating to improving my money situation in a list and work through them each day. 3 seems enough to keep me motivated and to see some results but also not too much that i become down if i cant find time to get everything done and its easy to catch up next day.

Take care :) and glad to see you here.

  • Thanks Angel, good job I bout value loo roll, just had to get more, the tears are a littel relentless today.

Plan for tomorrow, have an appointment with my nurse, will tell her all about this but she cant really do anything than see about a med review and of course listen to me which is good, she told me that it will be unlikely I will get a referral to Social worker cos he has too many cases.
I have to ring mortgage company with my contribution towards my monthly payment as it is mortgage payment day, I have only got £250 out of the £550 but will have the rest by mid Jan.

I have photographed 10 items for ebay so will list those too. I need to clean the house, its disgusting and I am usually a mega clean freak, so a busy day, not debt busting, I am in the lull right now, waiting for the onslaught of creditors letters - they will have had mine today stating they are having £1 a month between 11 of them and for a total of £37k debt, they are gonna love that and I am dreading the postman coming.

Oh yes and the CSA said they would ring the employer again so hope to have some explanation from them!

Thanks again, for the continuing support xxx

you are doing really well and you have a lot going on. Go now and give your kiddies a kiss and head off for a good night sleep. I do that every night now, thankful that even though things look bad, I have my daughter and really, thats the most important thing. Will be thinking about you tomorrow and look forward to a catch up.

  • Thanks flower, I will let you know what nurse says - to all CPNS reading this, I could not cope without my nutty nurse :-) I'll leave you to work out if I am calling her a nutty nurse or calling her My nutty nurse lol
  • I too came here from a link from another post, I think you are amazing.

You have come on here, been completely honest taken advice are making massive changes to your life to sort it out.

I know when I first came here and did stuff to save money, a few days later I did think oh crap its still a mess but IT ISN'T, you are making a difference to your debt, its not going to get any worse now. you are going to pay it off.

I think its brilliant, I really do.

    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Thank god I dont buy Andrex, I hope its not raining tomorrow cos I have got a sunglasses day coming up!!!!

I'm gonna continue to listen to you guys, I will always tell you the truth so you know what you are dealing with and so when you come back with the encouraging messages I will know they are not empty gestures.

My mind is very muddled, the general plan is in it, but have to keep looking at my notes for exact figures, how much I can spend etc. I need to LEARN these amounts off by heart so as not to make mistakes, like today I had it in my head that I will be paying £200 tommorrow when I now know it has to be £250, keeping on top all the time will be the key for me I think.
  • Just realised two people have come here from links elsewhere, should I be paranoid my 'names all over the papers' or proud lol
  • proud!

why not write out your budget on a slip of paper and pop it in your purse? that way you can always have a quick glance to remind yourself when you're out and about. bet it would help squash spending urges too :j

i love your diary, and i thinks its truly inspirational how strong you are being whilst trying to turn your life around. hope you have a good day tomorrow (although technically its now today :D i really must go to bed!)
