Well, I have to say - I am doing my own head in now!!! Lol
I think a lot of my problem the last few days is late nights, if I don't get regular rest, if not sleep, for 9 hours a night it affects my mood dramatically, this on top of the situation and subsequent worry, the kids now getting bored with holidays, me trying to do listing on eBay, contunually cooking and freezing, continually being on the phone to 'Ring The Idiot Hotlines', being cooped up cos its not petrol day I think I am on overload.
These things probably sounds daft to you all but they can lead to major problems for me, for example I burnt 2 tins of beans today cos i forgot they were on the hob- they are less than 6 ft away from me, so I was p'd off I had wasted those when they cost 34 pence, these stupid things are huge dramas for me at the best of times being manic depressive but at the moment , well!!! I did not realise how hollow my kids teenage legs were, nothing has changed but now I am counting everything in the cupboard I realise they are expensive things to run kids!
My nurse is going to have a word with the shrink about upping my anti depressants but we are both a bit wary of doing it because a raise before sent me sky high, I know I am on the edge, she knows I am on the edge so she has put me on weekly meetings and phone calls in between and my occupational therapist has done the same but already I am thinking - I havent got time to see you all lol
God its mad isnt it, I hate this bit of my madness, I am not ill enough to not know what the hell is going on but at the same time I need to shut down and forget it all for a bit or I will be too ill to deal with anything whatsoever.
Ok positive steps for tomorrow
1 Ring mortgage company first thing - get it outta the way
2. List 10 items on eBay
3. Do corned beef hash for dinner and pasty for tea
4. Organise paperwork I have dumped everywhere
5, Alter timers on heating clocks and water to go on later off earlier.
6. Get xmas decos out of the way
7. Listen to at least 30 songs on slice the pie
Ok there's some structure, I hate just flitting from one thing to another cos i forget and get in a pickle.
Right I am going to bed, need to get back to a routine bedtime and getting up time
Oh, I got offered an electric blanket for free today from Freecycle, so heating can go off much earlier and that can go on for 15 minutes before I jump in cos I have been going up to bed so cold I have been bathing and using hot water to warm me up - so sorted.
Thanks, again and again and again for keeping me on track and helping me not loose sight of it all.
Big squishy hugs to you all0 -
You've thanked all us but you need to give yourself some credit here.
It isn't us making the phone calls, sorting the SOA, preparing budgets, food lists, sending off all the letters etc. It's all down to you. You are in control of your own destiny so give yourself a pat on the back.0 -

Lol, I will when I am not so knackered, I'd fall over right now:D
Right, now I am REALLY off to bed, see you all tomorrow and even if I have said it before ........................... Thank you ...............Nite nite0 -
NTSI...you need to SLOW DOWN! Stop. Take a deep breath & breathe. While part of what you are going through impacts on your MH its fair to say that the majority of us get forgetful, irritable & generally low when overdoing it. The way to counter this is to do realistic and achievable, small targets. Your list there for today is quite a big one I'd say!! As an example my goals for today are possibly more along the lines of ring to see if cat food delivered, join rosemary conoley online and make jam! Much less! This debt busting is going to take time so you really do need to pace yourself, as we all do, or you'll make yourself ill! Please be gentle with yourself & as SS said give yourself a pat on the back. Re the beans I would suggest just doing one thing - I know if I keep leaving the tap on while I do something else that it wont be long before the inevitable flood! Big hugs for you!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

[strike] 1 Ring mortgage company first thing - get it outta the way[/strike]
2. List 10 items on eBay - Only managed 5 but Freecycled loads
[strike] 3. Do corned beef hash for dinner and pasty for tea[/strike] And I baked a cake
[strike] 4. Organise paperwork I have dumped everywhere[/strike] Done and replies to lots of emails, checked balances on debts and they are about £400 in total less than I thought cos I was going off my last letter from them.
[strike] 5, Alter timers on heating clocks and water to go on later off earlier.[/strike]
[strike] 6. Get xmas decos out of the way[/strike]
7. Listen to at least 30 songs on slice the pie - Oh God, I think I would lose the will to live if I started now, totally forget about that cos I did much more than was on this list. This morning I had a list of 18 things to do and now its down to 6.
So lots done in respect of debt busting, cutting down, organising my life and COOKING - grrrrr, I would rather clean 10 houses than cook lol
Sold a few bits on eBay made £20, Freecycled the rest that are no good for sale - have got more stuff on ebay and my sister is digging a load of stuff out too and I am going to sell it for her for 15% of the profit made ha ha, mean arent I?0 -
I have been following your thread since you started. I would just like to say you are inspiring. :TTotal debt Feb 2012 = £54354.11 😳
