Well you got more done than me...I have 1 proper day off per wk (Sat) when OH runs our shop..................all I did was procrastinate ALL day...pottering around when there were floors top mop! also got end of year accounts to tally up...couldn't face it!
But did make 2 lasagne and an apple on crunch thing out of stale biscuits.
Normally I get out to the farm shop (I'm v. anti supermarkets, being an independent retailer myself) but ended up in Asda instead as kettle blew up so got one there........only bought lowest margin essential items...but was next to "pre DFW me" Busy mum, 2 kids and dad ...no supplies (loo roll etc) but all the rip off high margin stuff like little, weeny bags of mixd seeds and fruit bits, bagged salads etc etc looked like 1 weeks worth....their bill??? £177:eek:  .......made me feel wise and a bit "holier than though"!!

    Silly really!!!

Will keep an eye out for your posts! :D

    ROTE, am loving your signature
  • Your life is so busy at the moment and you still make time to welcome me.:A
Just remember that every marathon starts with just one step.
Do you know I think I might add that to my signature, it sounds good even thou I say so myself.
At least you have started planning each day, I'm still only thinking about next month. I will have to sort this.
    Total debt Feb 2012 = £54354.11 😳
😁Debt Free and you can do it too
  • Well at least you are thinking chick, tis a good start !!

So January is the month where your light bulb gets up to full strength and away to go - you just bought a low energy one in Oct eh? - aren't those low energy bulbs a ruddy pain sometimes, especially when the dog sleeps on the landing 'guarding' you while you 'sleep' and he hasnt realised you got up for a drink - down you go at an alarming rate........
  • You know what it's like, you know things are getting bad so you make one or two changes then the next month you realise it not enough until finially you know that you need to look at every aspect if anything is going to change.

  • Oh yes, I know that feeling, you know its on the horizon and then bang, something comes along and plunges you into cold water!
