Glad you had a good day yesterday - when you are next having a pants one, try to think of some of the 'nice' feelings yesterday gave you.

Have a pootle over to the vouchers board at some point - if you are needing to buy a present - never buy it without seeing if there is a voucher (oh, and obviously doing a search on Kelkoo via Quidco first and then buying through Quidco if possible ;) )

Just occasionally, companies will do something like a £5 voucher, no minimum spend (and sometimes free delivery) so if youever see one of those , head off and grab a stocking filler - it's often companies like Firebox, CD-Wow, Kitbag, but it can be anybody - you just need to see the board at the right time!

  • I made £40 on ebay this week, after fee's etc it will come in at about £34 I think, but that was the half tidy stuff and £34 right now is a lot so that was not time wasted. But the time I have wasted listing things that are going to struggle to raise 50p would have been better spent cooking for the freezer, never mind though. I will do the same, do a bootsale and get passer by trade

    Hi,

Good to read that e-bay's going okay... why not keep a log of all the items you sell over the coming months... you'll then see the amount of income you've generated from internet auctions and the like... I know it's a private issue but do you have any specific plans for the money you've so far raised? e.g. aim to help pay off a specific debt like a credit card, a utility bill for example, or will the money go into the more general keep-your-head-above-water fund ? Just curios because now you're making headway, it's the time to start planning a little more ahead in terms of what you intend to do with [even small amounts] of extra income, I think...
