  • Awe thats kind of you hun - its not a brill situation but there we go at least I am sorting it out in some shape or another ha ha.

Poor you having to read my diary, I would have lost the will to live after 5 of my ramblings lol
  • noo! i just wish i could help :D get ebaying and list on amazon - was my savior running up to xmas, and im buying everyone gifts online for birthdays and special occasions this year - well probably coming out of OH's pocket but its saving together!!
Money's our first priority, it doesn't make sense to me -Simple Plan - Crazy

  • Yes it is time consuming but I have banked £70 in total from my rubbish :j:j

I had some great news yesterday, the welfare officer from my college sorted out a hardship payment for me to go towards getting back and forth to school :T:T:T

They are so supportive of me doing this course, its amazing, I need to catch up on the coursework and was worrying about the extra costs of an extra day and now they have more than met them for me, how good is that!!!!
  • Just a quick update on CSA - basically the employer continues to give the CSA the run around but at a £500 fine for each missed payment they don't think that the employer is very scared :-(

I am still in contact with them, am now on first name terms with most of the staff and I have started shouting for recourse regardless of what the pathetic fine is, I am NOT letting them get away with it!

My MP wrote back to me and has written to the minister responsible for CSA.

Its so frustrating to know that I should have a minimum of £2000 in my pot by the end of this week and its not going to be there.

Went to get my cheque from student support today and the cheque ws taken away yesterday cos they thought i was at a different campus!!!! Still its good of them to give it to me but I don't half get p'd off at the way people do (or rather dont do) their jobs properly.

There you go, thats my little whinge out of the way ..............
  • Just popping in to sa hi & keep up the good work :)

  • Thanks hun.

I maybe down at the moment but I am kicking and screaming and most definitely not out lol

Havent hard anything from a creditor for a while - is that no news is good news or the calm before the storm I wonder :-)

I didn't think being so poor could have a silver lining - I have lost half a stone since I found MSE yayyyy
  • Just a quickie update, I meant to do it earlier and found Mum of Twins thread and have been engrosed with the whole sorry tale, I thought I had problems!! That woman is amazing!

Anyway, CSA are still a bag of poo, still being whitewashed by the employer and still no money.

Another creditor has agreed to £1 a month.

My CPN organised a telephone appointment with a lovely lady from Shelter who is going to have a word with a specialist to see what my chances of getting some of the debts written off on the grounds of me taking eons to pay it off (if the CSA doesnt come good) and the fact that despite all my good intentions to retrain if I relapse and have another hit from the illness then I may not even be able to get done in college.

On the downside, my CPN thinks it s tad unrealistic for me to be thinking about earning any sort of money this year and to be honest I think she is right, although I will have a qualification in hairdressing I will not be a hairdresser for sometime because I will need lots of experience before I can really earn but hey ho I can still practice lol

I made a claim for income support today and I am hoping I do not have to serve another 38 weeks for housing costs, Shelter think I may qualify under 52 week protection, so fingers crossed for that!

Well thats it, going back to see how MOT is doing.

    This place is FAB!!!!!
  • The CSA are a joke aren't they? :wall: What is the point in them if they don't flex their muscle to do what they are there for?

Hows everything else going NTSI? :)

We need another nickname for you!
  • hey ho...thought things had been a wee bit quiet on your thread of late and thought no news is good news. It is really annoying when people dont follow through on promises like employer, csa and your cheque!!

So what else have you been up to in last few days?

Someone just recommended selling books, dvds etc on play.com and in the past day Ive made more money on there than anywhere so far this month!! First 10 items have no fees!! My Ghost dvd sold for about £10!!! Would be luckly to get £1 on ebay. If you have anything left LOL you could try there??

You got any nice plans for the weekend?

We need another nickname for you!

Yes, it should at least be - Ok, Ok I'm sorting it!!! :j

How about my 'real life' nick name - Frankie? Thats probably easier.

I am ok, thanks for asking hun. I have been up and down like a fiddlers elbow but thats normal given the circumstances.

My team are 'pleased' with how I am handling the pressure and havent 'upped the tablets' lol so that's a good sign, they are keeping a very close eye on me and are brilliant.

I have now started shouting about getting a liability order on the absent parent, i found a very small clause in amongst some legislation or other that stated 'until the CSA receive the money it is still deemed part of the wages' - so he too still has a responsibility to ensure his employer does their job but the fact still remains that the max fine is £500 for each payment missed, not much of an incentive when they should be handing over £1000 a month!

A liability order would work wonders cos they can then take hi driving licence away, send the !!!!!! to prison etc etc That would really stuff his career!

I have also been shouting bout maladministration and unnecessary delay on the CSAs part, but who gets to take on the government successfully, not many.

I know I have to 'forget' the CSA money, but its hard when I am in Tesco wondering how I am gonna do a shop for 3 on £25.

Still, it could be a LOT worse and even though its hard, it aint gonna kill me is it, so onwards we go, just like Christian Soldiers hahaha
