Morning all. Still feeling meh this morning. But what can you do eh? It's Ste's payday AND tax credits day but the internet bankings down so I can check it. :wall:
Oh well. Will just have to wait.
Bit worried about the tesco clubcard vouchers... even if they arrive today that only leaves tomorrow for the deal vouchers to get here as we have to drop the car in at 9am on friday. Bit doubtful as to whether they'll make it in time if they do arrive today and we'll have wasted the vouchers.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Could the car be delayed at all? Is it your MOT or just a service, I've forgotten?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

i was just thinking that snags, would it be better to postpone now to give yourself an extra say...week than last minute or shell out for the service and be left with vouchers when they would be put to better use paying towards service0

To be fair for the sake of £40 I'd rather just get it done as Ste would have to book another day off for it etc etc. Plus we could use the clubcard vouchers for something else..Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Morning guys.
Happy...uh... thursday? lol
Well in the bank at the moment we have £402.55 ready for the car service. Fingers crossed the other tesco vouchers come today
Still no news on the job front. Going to drop a couple more CVs in tomorrow while we're in town having the car serviced. Ste's also asked around his work to see if there's anything going but no luck yet.
Oh well.. it's jobs paper day today (oooh I sound like Keren now! :rotfl:)
Fingers crossed something comes up soon!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

How fantastic having the money in your savings account for things like car services. If you look back a year or two, I bet there was no hope of that whatsoever. We've started a 'car savings' account, and last year we just saved £12 a month, which paid for the car tax. This year we have increased it to £25 a month, so it will probably cover car tax and MOT. Because we started really small, and then only increased it by a few quid the next year, we haven't missed the money at all.
I know your budget might not allow it just at the moment, but it probably will once you have your job etc sorted out.
We are sort of intending to get to the point where we save up throughout the year and are then able to pay for things like insurances etc outright. No point doing it with council tax etc though, because they don't charge you to spread the payments."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
