  • Well we've actually done it the same way as debt savings would've been but instead we'rd using it for the car service. Nice to not have to rely on a credit card though! Got the car tax due too but the child benefit on tuesday will cover that :D

  • Just had a call out of the blue from Argos Direct for a telephone interview! Can't even remember when I called and left my details on their recruitment line.. Telephone interview went well I thought so fingers crossed. Apparently if I'm successful I should hear within 7 days and the next part of the process is an 'assessment' at the actual call centre. Fingers crossed!

Even if the vouchers don't arrive tomorrow, have you any evidence of having requested them?

The garage might hold off on payment for a day or two if you promise to call in with them next week. You could offer to leave them with a cheque as surety. If you don't call back with the vouchers, then they can just cash the cheque.

I-A, did you order the vouchers off t'internet? I got an email to tell me they had been despatched....maybe your garage would accept one of the girls as ransom until they arrive?
