It's not the end of your diary, think of it as a serial, it's just split into parts.
Put a link to this part in the first post of your next one...
I know what you mean but my diaries have always been kind of sanctuary as my place to go and offload if need be and my whole life is charted on here pretty much... having it split into bits just doesn't feel right..

I must admit, I don't understand the rationale about the posts in a thread thing. A given page should be the same size (and hence the same time to download) completely independently of the number of pages in the thread.
If it's a database access thing, then dial-up users are not going to be the only ones affected.

Awww Sar I can understand you feeling a bit sad about it being split but you need to remember why it has to be, as in all the help you have given to others and all of us who feel compelled to join you on your journey to being a DFW.

Well my 'old' diary has just been closed at 6 months and a week old.. with approx 4790 posts....
That works out at 798 posts a month... :eek:
