Good news!
Got some hair colour I ordered off eBay today so I am going to touch up my roots...
It's only one of the colours I normally use but I'm sure it will e ok...won't it? lol
At least I won't look like Lily Savage anymore...
I finally-after 2 years-put some batteries in that 'Elephunt' game and Joe is having a ball with it, lolEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Mine arrived yesterday, I was surprised to get £13 as I hardly shop in there but I must have used a 1000 point code and had some shopping delivered over the last quarter.

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Feeling really fed up this afternoon. I realised earlier that I've been at home full time for 15 months. *Sigh* So fed up. Just want to DO something that doesn't involve being in the house. Was tempted to go our tonight for the cheap 'student night' drinks but realised I have 1 friend who I actually go out with. Plus of course there's always the money. I just want to have a life. I have no proper friends who I can just pop round with wine for a natter... and if I did I'd end up feeling guilty for leaving Ste at home with the girls. :wall:
Sorry for the moan. Just feeling crap and lonely this afternoon.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Well you have done a lot of stuff that you haven't seen the rewards of yet, you've saved and stopped spending so have effectively earned your way to the tune of thousands... you've been accpeted for a degree level course and got on the job professional training set up the tough groundwork isn't in vain... and you are setting yourself up to have choices and the financial freedom to take them... I think as people get older and kids/parents need looking after social groups do get more sparse and dispersed.... the OU run the odd social event so you can do some studenty things with them....0 -
Don't forget you've achieved a heck of a lot in such a short time you know, so give yourself a pat on the back for that. And you're doing the band stuff with Ste...maybe you just need to feel that there's a bit more Sarah-stuff in your life... and that's a natural feeling especially when you're a SAHM.
When your girls start at nursery & school, you'll find more like-minded people to meet up with....and when you get started at CAB AND a new p/t job you'll meet more new friends. Is there anyone at Bodytone who you chat to & get on with? Its a hard thing to try & make new friends when you're an adult, I know from moving to my Lancashire coastal home from the leafy Cheshire suburbs & changing jobs too.0 -
oooh i'm SO there with you sar! no kids but work from home and it is LON-E-LY!!!! My one friend up here is the lovely Hypno and yes i to feel guilty if i go out for a glass of wine and leave OH at home.
It really is hard especially when money is tight, but you have done so much to improve your situation from that point of view that you should feel extremely proud for what you have acheived. :T
I'm sure the CAB and bodytone will reap it's rewards with the people that you meet and pretty soon there will be more fellow lambriniaholics to socialise with.
It is so easy as children you just say "hello, do you want to play with my dolls" and you have a friend for life...try that as an adult and you may well get your block knocked off!!!:rotfl:
Why not go the student bar sometime, take your friend with you, sit down next to a couple of other girls and find a way to get talking. you never know a friendship may be borne...
Hark at me giving ideas when i've lived here a year and still know erm.... hardly anyone...:rotfl:debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0
