Octopus 15 month fix tariff

Given same scenario prices might be even higher by Christmas Day 2025 in lead up to January 1st 2026 price cap change.Gerry1 said:
You've missed the point. My 15M fix runs out on Christmas Day 2025. It's no longer available, only a 12M version. If I sign up today for a 1yr fix I could be hit hard if prices then rocket because I'd be stuck paying a fortune for over two months next autumn. Could be a mackerel to catch a sprat.NameWithheld said:
With zero exit fees, if you see a cheaper tariff than the one you are currently on, you may as well switch. You can always switch again laterPhones4Chris said:Whilst I could potentially save £50 (all on electric) over the next 12 months, as a couple of others have mentioned there's a question as to what might happen in the following 3 months. If it's 1p pkWh more I'd lose out with my usage. So I don't think I'll change at present, just keep an eye on things.2
