Octopus 15 month fix tariff

  • today 15mth deal price has droped maybe worth checking what you all signed up for compared to today update
  • My 12M deal (gas only) runs out in October. I haven't heard from them so I used X to ask them what my options are. A few minutes later I was offered the 15M deal. It is cheaper than the October flexible tariff and with the Middle East looking even worse than usual it seems like a no-brainer. New tariff at 5.76p/kWh starts on October 17th when the old one at 6.99p/kWh expires. The icing on the cake is that there is no exit fee.

I dip into this forum from time to time, and that's what alerted me to check...

You don’t see an option if you are already on a fix

I just tried my phone (app)  and could switch that way via the web site.  Gone from v1 to v2
Will keep a look out for v3

Suggest everyone gets a new online quote to see if rates are better now than when you signed up to the Fixed Tariff.
    Welcome to the forum.
I know that tariffs come and go quite frequently but it must be a record for a company to launch and withdraw a tariff every day !
I've updated my 15M fix, so many thanks.

Are you going to check the 15 month fixed tariff every day and contact them if it`s a fraction cheaper to change it?
